Description
Model 50P-975 is a 50 Ohm relay programmable attenuator with attenuation range 0 to 63dB by 1dB steps. It operates DC-1000 MHz and is rated for 0.5 Watts of RF input power. This step attenuator is available with BNC, N, SMA or TNC coaxial RF connectors. The attenuator has six individually controlled steps: 1dB, 2dB, 4dB, 8dB, 16dB, and 32dB.
+12Vdc Controlled
Each of the attenuation steps has a corresponding solder feedthru where the control Voltage is applied. Applying +12Vdc to a solder feedthru will turn on the attenuation for that step. The internal relays are failsafe to their thru path setting (i.e. failsafe to 0dB setting). An open circuit (or Ground) on a solder feedthru will turn off the attenuation for that step. Activate multiple steps simultaneously to set combinational attenuation values. For a 7dB setting, the 1dB/2dB/4dB control lines must active. For the 18dB setting, the 2dB/16dB control lines must be active. To set the attenuator to the insertion loss state (i.e. 0dB setting), all control lines must off (i.e. Ground or Open Circuit).
