Description
Model 50MS-470 is a 6X6 blocking matrix switch that operates 400-7125 MHz. All unused ports are absorptive (i.e. self-terminating into 50 Ohm). It is available with N female or SMA female RF connectors. The matrix is constructed using switches on both halves of the matrix. Each input port can be set to only one output port at a time. A 6X6 blocking matrix can only have a maximum of 6 active paths. We label the ports as IN and OUT as a naming convention only. All ports operate bi-directionally.
Manual Path Control
The keypad and display on the front panel can be used to manually set paths and read current path settings.
Remote Control
The matrix switch can be remotely controlled via an Ethernet connection or a serial connection (i.e. RS-232). The network settings can be changed manually with the keypad or remotely using the NET remote command. The network interface can be set to either DHCP mode or Fixed Address mode. All new test systems are shipped from the factory in DHCP mode. A RS-232 connection to the test system is made using a null modem type serial cable. Baud rates up to 155200 baud are available. The baud rate can be changed manually with the keypad or remotely with the SERIAL remote command.
